Azar Jamalzada ("we," "us," or "our") operates the BrainPass mobile application and the BrainPass Parent Hub web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
BrainPass uses the Android AccessibilityService API to provide its core parental control functionality. This permission is required to detect which application is currently running in the foreground on the child's device, allowing the App to accurately block distracting apps and overlay our educational lock screen.
Data Privacy: We DO NOT use the AccessibilityService API to collect, store, or share any personal data, keystrokes, or sensitive screen content. The API operates strictly locally on the device to monitor app package names solely for the purpose of enforcing screen-time limits set by the parent.
To use the remote management features of the Parent Hub, parents or guardians must create an account. During registration and checkout, we collect your email address, secure password, and payment information. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; all payments are processed securely by our third-party provider, Stripe.
The BrainPass Android application collects data necessary to enforce parental controls and track educational progress. This includes:
To allow parents to monitor their child's progress remotely, the App securely syncs educational progress and app-lock settings to our cloud database (Google Firebase). If the child's device is offline, this data is stored locally and syncs automatically once an internet connection is restored.
We use trusted third-party companies to facilitate our Service, process payments, and provide secure cloud infrastructure. These third parties are legally obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose:
BrainPass is a parental control tool designed to be set up and managed exclusively by parents. We take the protection of children's data very seriously and strictly comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personally identifiable information without your consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
We value your trust and utilize industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transit and at rest. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, or wish to request the deletion of your account data, do not hesitate to contact us.
